The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This painting was the first of my Grayscale Series, and my favorite to date. In this series I highlight a single chromatic object, all else rendered in grayscale. The red tree stands starkly and majestically above all the other elements of the composition. A truly unique painting.
About Stephen Krieger
Stephen began his study with oils over 20 years ago while working as a financial services executive. In 2014 he began to focus his attention on painting landscapes and animal portraiture. Stephen's work is influenced by greats such as Monet and Sargent, as well as by the contemporary artists Michael James Smith and Andrew Tischler.
